What to expect…

This Performance Camp was created for the girlies to have the opportunity to perform and hone into their confidence. I truly believe the foundation to thrive as yourself comes from confidence & self love. Over the past 3 years of working with the girlies, I have seen SO much growth in the way they carry themselves, how they’ve found their voices, and how much they’ve grown to love who they are. I am determined to instill confidence in our Baldtourage Girlies but also girls outside of our community! Confidence & self love is a never ending journey, so let’s start them out young and give them a space to PERFORM and truly practice confidence!!

I also believe confidence can be taught through different outlets such as getting the experience of performing in front of an audience, how to do and wear makeup, saying affirmations out loud to yourself in the mirror, modeling in a Fashion Show, and dancing your heart out for an audience made up of your family, friends, and… our community! Or in other words… giving the girls a chance to PERFORM!!!

AFFIRMATIONS: We will start every morning saying our affirmations out loud. “I am Confident. I am Bold. I am Strong. I am Fierce. I am Beautiful”

SPA PARTY: We will be painting our nails, sipping on some juice, and having some ‘girl talk’!!

MAKEOVERS: Our favorite Makeup Artist, Abby Wren will be teaching the girlies all about how to express themselves through makeup with an emphasis on how much FUN makeup can be! She will be coming two times this week and helping them do their makeup for the big Performance on Friday!

FASHION SHOW: We will be having a mini Fashion Show within our camp (not a huge performance like the dance performance) where we will be finding clothes that make us feel beautiful and walking down the runway to music, while the other girls in class watch and cheer each other on!

CHEERLEADING: The girls will be learning basic cheer moves as well as a cheer routine that they will perform at the Performance on Friday.

BALLET: The girls will be learning the basics of ballet plus a ballet routine to perform for all of you!

DANCE PERFORMANCE: The girlies will learn a jazz routine that they will perform on Friday for their Friends and Family all on Zoom. This is our 7th online Dance Show and they are always SO special! :)

Breaks will be included, I know attention spans on Zoom can be difficult.

We are looking for an assistant to be a role model for the younger girls, help Christie with different tasks throughout the week, as well as participate in all the activities! Open to all Baldtourage Girls ages 10 & up!!
