We asked the current Confidence Club Girlies what their favorite thing about Confidence Club is, & these were their responses…
* EXCITING NEW ADDITIONS *
QUARTERLY PERFORMANCES:
Four times a year the kids will have the opportunity to perform in a Fashion Show, Talent Show, Summer Recital, & Holiday Performance on Zoom for their family/friends. Juniors will have speaking opportunities during these performances.
CONNECTION HOUR:
One hour before the Mini’s Class, Christie will be available via email to discuss any topics one on one with you or your child.
MENTORSHIP PROGRAM:
Once a month, the kids will meet with a Baldtourage Mentor (Junior Confidence Club + BT Ladies will be the mentors), to focus on different skills through our pre-written lesson plans. ie. self love, bullying, making friends, etc.
INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENTS:
Every few months, Christie will give an individualized update about your child’s experience in Confidence Club via email.

Ages 13-17

Connection to other teenagers with hair loss
4 Speaking Opportunities a year
Mentorship Opportunities with the younger girlies
Weekly connection hours with Christie
Group Chat with Christie & other girls
Conversations about school, friends, hair loss, bullying, homework, self image, sports, etc!

FAQs
As of February 2024, Christie’s Mini Confidence Club will include all aspects from Baldtourage Active as well as the regular activities from Confidence Club. Our updated version will include a connection hour every week before class for your children/you to connect with Christie about anything you want to talk about. We will now have a Mentorship Program which will be held on the last class of the month, lead by our Junior Confidence Club Girls and/or Baldtourage Ladies with our lesson plans from Baldtourage Active (see above for examples). Four performance opportunities per year: Talent Show, Fashion Show, Dance Recital, and Holiday Performance for their family/friends! Juniors will have the opportunity to speak at these performances. Christie will also periodically be giving individual assessments about your child’s growth in Confidence Club. All of this is included with Christie leading a different activity in class each week (like our 2023 classes), our Facebook Group, the new friendships the kids make, and the one on one relationship with Christie.
What is the difference between the current Confidence Club (as of 2023) and this new one?
”If my child has to miss her class on Wednesday this week, can she come to the Tuesday Class? “

If my child has to miss two classes this month, can I pause my membership?
We are building a community that shows up for each other, teaching the kids about commitment, and creating a community that is more than just the classes each week… so going forward, memberships cannot be paused. You can cancel and rejoin if needed, but we highly encourage continuous attendance so your kids can experience the benefits of Christie’s Confidence Club. Please see Terms & Conditions.
Are boys allowed to join?
Yes! We plan to expand Confidence Club with more boys this year + Male Mentors, so yes we would love to have them join!

“Where to even begin? I honesty don't know where I'd be without Christie Valdiserri or The Baldtourage family. They have created a safe space for my daughter to grow and thrive in confidence and for me to feel a connection and supported. Evelyn began her Alopecia journey at age 4 and at about age 5 ½ had lost all her hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes. She has always loved to dance, sing, and express herself through those things, but after her hair loss - it seemed to diminish. I can't remember what exactly led me to Christie's Instagram account (probably my constant googling about Alopecia and anything to do with the stinky, dreaded condition) but I immediately knew Evelyn would love her. I still remember Evelyn saying "Momma she looks just like me!" Not too long after, I learned that Christie offered Zoom dance classes for other little kiddies and we made the connection. To say that this was life changing for both of us, is an understatement. I will never forget a night where Evelyn was feeling especially low and sad about her baldness and I sent Christie a message to see if she might be able to chat with Evelyn and within minutes, we were FaceTiming her. She pumped Evelyn up and made her feel 100% better. Since then we both have tried to be involved in every opportunity Christie puts out there. For Evelyn to see Christie weekly and other little kiddies who look like her is just priceless.
